Great location, clean room, friendly staff, heated pools and hot tub, beautiful mountains, loved the balcony

no bellman, one elevator, The cellar wine center was attracting structure, slow service, empty, was made to thing it would be crowded in demand, it was quite the opposite! Ordered minimum once I felt there is a problem! My wife and I got the glass of wine suggested on the menu with her salmon and my lamb chops., We couldn’t wait to check out. The food was ok, her salmon too dry. Short of staff in areas , bellmen and staff in gift shop. Plus midday I saw a cute rat eating crumbs outside on the veranda.. Your facility is amazing, beautiful, especially the Crystal Ballroom! I hope things will improve. Golf we were too busy , but grand. I was somewhat proud of staying at the Grand , when the brakeman commented about The Washington Hotel and the Mountain View Grand on our descent , when he pointed out both beautiful structures! The grounds were just beautiful. Loved the pool area and the vineyard with walking path. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Loved our stay there.

A wonderful old inn and a unique stay. Mostly decorated in a traditionl style, with a few modern touches. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the inn's restaurant is renowned - bookings essential. The food was amazing! Plenty of parking and an easy walk into the town center. We would certainly return.
