It’s a new hotel which opened just recently. Accordingly the interior and amenities are fresh and modern. The staff was friendly but unfortunately not up to the standard of the hotel. Services like breakfast, laundry, restaurant etc. don’t match the quality criteria of a 4* hotel. Very noisy on some evenings until late night due to loud banquets on the upper floor.

I had a wonderful stay at Athena Hotel in Kampala. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly has the charm and quality of a boutique hotel. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and always attentive to the smallest details, making me feel genuinely valued as a guest. The breakfast was another highlight, offering an excellent variety of fresh and delicious options, with great attention to presentation and service. Having stayed at two different hotels in Kampala, I can confidently say that Athena Hotel was by far the better experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kampala, whether for business or leisure.
