Lenny and the rest of the staff were absolutely exceptional. The breakfast brunch was a beautiful variety of Greek and local food. The view from the hotel was exquisite the amenities around the hotel were wonderful and the atmosphere was top-notch. I would totally stay here again if I was in the Meteora area.

Heaven on Earth

What can i say? Stayed there 4 years ago and loved it so much that i decided to return. First time was when Greece just opened after Covid. What a difference, no restrictions, it was more wonderful than before. My family said they would come back in a heartbeat. I live this place.

We had a brief but memorable stay at Doupiani House. After the long drive from Athens, we loved the serenity of the hotel grounds and the gorgeous view of the Meteora cliffs from our balcony. The staff are kind and helpful and gave us great tips for catching the sunset (the best one of our Greece trip) and for a nice traditional meal afterwards in Kastraki. At breakfast the following morning, everything was fresh and tasty. Visiting the monasteries was easy as they are a very short drive away and the staff helped us plan our itinerary. Overall, we loved Doupiani!

A great stay in Meteora! A perfect location with beautiful outdoor seating areas to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. We appreciated the suggestion on a hiking trail (great directions) which was very accessible from the hotel. Loved the local restaurant just down the road (with red awning poles, downhill and on the opposite side of the road). Fabulous service, atmosphere and food! We ate there twice.

This place is beautiful. It is further away from the other city, Kalabaki, but much quiet here. The patio and the view of meteora was beautiful. The room was large, clean, amenities were described, AC worked great, the receptionist and all the staff was so nice and friendly. The breakfast is what makes this place shine. I loved the fresh jams, pastries, eggs, sausage, spinach pie, variety of beverages and everything else.

Perfect stay!

We’ve been traveling in Greece (return trip) for a few weeks. This may have been our nicest stay. First, a lovely room and setting. Second, the professionalism AND warmth of the staff. In particular, one member of our party needed a little help and she was well taken and genuinely taken care of by Doupiani House. Also, excellent breakfast.

This charming property is right off the drive to the monasteries. The hotel has gorgeous grounds, super-friendly staff and a scrumptious breakfast! The bed is huge, soft and comfy. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the view with a balcony - that view is breathtaking!

Divine

What a divine place to stay while in ethereal Meteora! Its near the outskirts of Kastraki, but that means the views are stunning. Doupiani House is within walking distance of the monastery of Agios Nikolaos, and it's an easy 10 min walk into the center of the village. The complimentary, local, homecooked breakfast was the best I had in Greece. Luckily, this time of year the garden figs are in season. And the tavernas in town were so enjoyable, too. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and toiletries were stocked. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and slept well. The energy here was palpable and grounding. If I ever get to return to Greece, I'm spending an entire week here!
