Solo traveling, good value, clean and basic comfort there

Hotel is next to highway and 1 side of hotel facing receives a lot of road noise.

Booed tis room for the three queen beds and indoor pool and hot tub. When we arrived they told us the pool was being serviced!!! big disappointment to my grandsons. Then as the evening went on, we kept discovering bugs in the room (crickets maybe). Seven in all that were visible! We would have liked to pack up and leave but my husband was in a lot of pain from back surgery. W got up early and left...did not use the shower - just left. So disappointing.

We stayed at Cambria for five nights while our daughter attended Baylor Line Camp. We’ve stayed here a couple of times before for shorter visits and have generally enjoyed our experience. This longer stay, however, highlighted a few areas that would make us consider a different hotel next time. First, we reserved an accessible room, but we found that the shower was not truly accessible, which made it difficult to use comfortably. Second, we were surprised that the hotel did not have on-site guest laundry facilities, which is a significant convenience for longer stays. Lastly, there was no afternoon food service available. During the summer, when many guests are vacationing or staying for extended periods, having food available beyond breakfast would be much more convenient. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean, but these amenities are important to us, especially for longer visits. We hope these areas can be improved because we’ve enjoyed staying here in the past.
