Our one-night stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean, and it was suitable for my husband, our cat, and me. The staff was friendly and professional. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and the highway. We look forward to staying here again.

I travel to So. Illinois annually to visit but this is my first stay at the Makanda Inn. It will not be my last. I had a very peaceful stay- after long days of family visit and running around with the grands, it was so nice to stay here where it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast every morning was top notch and just the right portions.

Competitively priced. Complimentary happy hour and hot breakfast were exceptional. We stay at a Drury Inn whenever they are available.

The staff at the location were very accommodating. Check to make sure everything was good. The breakfast was awesome. I was concerned that the pool was being under construction and that was not sent out to people that are planning or had planned to stay there. I was looking forward to the pool and if have been a hot tub.
