"Favorite place to stay on our trip to Japan"
We really enjoyed this place from the moment we arrived. The staff were warm and helpful. We stayed in a 2nd floor room because we wanted the futons. When we booked it, we were worried that the rooms would be a bit noisy because they were close to the street - but this was not the case. It was super quiet and a perfect stay. The bath was super nice - clean and has a great view of the Torii gate. We did the half board, so had the Japanese breakfast here. It was fantastic. Very well done. Great service and wonderful food. Definitely a highlight for the trip. One note: during your stay, you leave the room key with the front desk... we didn't realize this and started to walk out with it, but the staff chased us down and explained it :) Also worth nothing - of all the places we stayed, they had the best communication before we arrived. Emails were helpful and informative about restaurant choices on the island and getting there at the right time.

"Great for Business Travel"
This Hotel is great for business travelers and is a good price for what you get. Probably not as good for families since the rooms are on the small side.

Poor view from room, but rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would've liked to try their private bath but it was booked full. A bit further from the attractions, but it's still a very short walk.

Not luxury but seemed recently renovated and quite clean, excellent value for the price compared to other Japanese ryokan i've stayed. Location is a bit on the outskirts of Miyajima, but considering it takes 15 minutes to walk across the entire town that's not such a big deal.

"Room with a river view"
We were pleasantly greeted by the check-in staff, when I asked for a room with the river view, the lady that was checking us, happily changed our room and give us the room overlooking the river. From our room we can see the A-dome. After staying in a closet-sized room in Sinjuku, I was prepared for another small room, but to my surprised , the room was quite big for a double-size. The breakfast buffet was excellent and saves us a lot of time looking for places to eat for breakfast.

"fantastic hotel, but far from central hiroshima"
i used this hotel to recover from jet lag and as a staging point to see the itsukishima shrine and himeji castle. A very luxurious and comfortable hotel at a great price, but somewhat removed from hiroshima - expect to pay for a taxi.

"Extremely well located"
Very near the giant tori gate and shrine that have made Miyajima famous. Incidentally Expedia inserted a highly incorrect info in my confirmation which said: 'There is no front desk at this property. To make arrangements for check-in please contact the property ahead of time using the information on the booking confirmation." This is absolutely not true. Not only is there a highly qualified front desk but I was picked up by the hotel shuttle bus upon my arrival at the ferry.

Iwakuni is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Iwakuni, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Iwakuni hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
