Great hotel. Food so so.

This is an absolute great hotel. Just avoid dinner buffet. Lukewarm and pretty bland. Might be hotel buffet standard, but since Japanese food options are great suggest to steer clear. Lovely little Indian restaurant 2 minutes away if you need something close to hotel.

Very nice hotel and staff. We did not include breakfast with our stay, but had the dinner buffet one night and thought it was good value. Location was ok, regarding transportation and shops/food, we found we used taxis to get around in Hiroshima and walked just based on what we did there.

This property is a wonderful mix of tradition, luxury and comfort. The decor is beautiful and the amenities are fantastic, including the adorable personal use onsen with a view of the small garden. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) and this property was spacious enough for all of us. The surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful river running along a lane of trees. The location was also fantastic for nearby dinning and sites. If I return to Kyoto, I would want to stay here again. Just wonderful!

Amazing Hotel with Outstanding Service!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic — definitely worth adding to your stay. The hotel also features a great pool, which our kids loved. A few things to keep in mind: the hotel does not offer shuttle services, and the nearest train station is about a 13-minute walk away. Therefore, you may need to take a taxi for most outings, especially if you’re traveling with children or luggage. Also, if you plan to enjoy the pool, swim caps are required. You can bring your own or rent one at the hotel for 500 yen. Overall, we truly loved our experience, and our kids didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend this hotel, especially for families.

The hotel is only a few years old. As such, it is perfectly clean and very nice. We found a wonderful coffee shop/breakfast place a block and a half away. If you plan to use the pool, bring a swim cap. The roof top terrace is only for executive suites. We never had to wait for a taxi.
