Helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast

Excellent hotel in terms of location, food & staff service.

Excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff and a very charming feel to the hotel. Breakfast was also excellent! We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Novotel Rio Vermelho. This was a birthday trip, and I paid over $1,300 USD for one week in an ocean-view room. At check-in, I was placed in a lower-level room where the door did not fully close, and there was blood on the bed sheets. I reported it and was told to ask the next day about moving rooms. I was moved to the 7th floor, where I found a cockroach in my room. When I complained, an employee came with bug spray and told me the hotel sprays weekly and that cockroaches are in the walls. This was said as if it were normal or acceptable. The hotel offered me free breakfast for the rest of my stay to make up for the issues, but at checkout they tried to charge me for it. I then had to email them afterward to get it corrected. The Wi-Fi was also unavailable for most of my stay, and the air conditioning stopped working for about half of my final day. Robert at the front desk was the one positive and did everything he could to help. Unfortunately, the hotel is very dated and does not look like the photos. Between the blood-stained sheets, roaches, maintenance issues, poor Wi-Fi, and billing problems, this was a terrible experience. I have received no financial compensation and would not recommend this hotel.

Muito o que melhorar. Cafe da manha é o ponto alto. Cafe Muito bom. Hotel sem.praia. rodeados de propriedades velhas. Roupa de cama de segunda categoria e ate mesmo cheia de filhos. Alguns pisos rachados no quarto.

Breakfast was okay. Bakery goods were a little dry.

Todo está totalmente bem. Gostei de hotel.
