Inflated rental pay for lower service protocol at best. It would be four star if not, three for the fact the building is so old and the style inside is from the 60s. It will need a major remodel plus rooms are too small in comparison to the rate. You could get a five star hotel for much better service management need to teach lower staff how to behave in front of customers and learn how to apologize when they are wrong on several occasions they never said they’re wrong or apologized. Despite the fact, they are very well aware of it. That is not hospitality protocol that is less than street behavior. Therefore they don’t deserve more than three star. Four star is an upgrade for them.

Hi, I wanted to express my disappointment with my recent stay at The Marmara Taksim. I encountered several issues, including unwelcoming staff, a non-smoking room that smelled of cigarettes, poor upgrade service, an empty shower gel dispenser, restrictive water policy, a non-functional swimming pool, and the loss of my prescription glasses during the hammam. The overall experience was far below expectations, and I feel these issues need to be addressed for a more satisfactory resolution. Thank you.

5 days hotel stay in Istanbul

Fantastic location. Next to metro and shopping district. Doormen were very helpful especially Ugur. They can assist to get taxi for you. Always check the cost before taking taxi. Some drivers will overcharged you. Breakfast selection was great. Hotel rooms are nice and comfortable. Felt very safe here. Security is tight. And always got police roadblock. There is a mini mart next to the hotel. Cheaper here than anywhere else. Can stock up.

Very disappointed. They are supposed to be 5 stars, it is not. Terrible staff, front desk personnel were rude and disorganized at check in, nearly so at check out. Housekeeping was incomplete, left room partially not done. Room was tiny, especially the bathroom.

The staff were very helpful, professional and enthusiastic to help and provide. One of the senior restaurant staff Hosein G was exemplary helpful during our breakfast buffet over our stay. I can't wait to come back to Taksim Marmara again.
