My husband and I were traveling home from vacation. I am not sure what caused my medical condition to overreact. But, it definitely became unbearable. Traveling on the highways while I looked for a place to spend the night was difficult. We had our fur baby with us. I checked multiple sites to find hotels with our criteria. Found Expedia when we figured where we were headed. I just want to say that for travelers whose plans change from the itinerary these sites are so helpful. I set a reservation for Best Western Plus in Greenwood, IN. I called ahead to confirm the reservation. Letting them know I was on a cane and need a room close to elevator or a lower level. The clerk was not very helpful. Told me the room was on the second floor all the way at the end of the hall. At check in my husband asked about getting a room closer to the elevator or at least on the lower level close to front desk. He was told that since we booked third party we would have to contact them to change our room. So, out of complete agony of pain and discomfort we just shut up. They would not supply our request for an extra pillow. The room smelled like a locker room. Now, I am so upset with Best Western. We will never think about staying again at all Best Westerns!

I didn’t like that there was ants in my room on the bed and bedside table. The sheets were really rough.

The check in process was terrible. We just had driven thru 15 hrs of heavy traffic from Florida and arrived 3 hrs later than planned and it was after 1am. All we wanted to do was get to a comfortable bed. The guy was having some type of difficulty getting our key card and told me to "go sit down" while he tried to fix it; after we had already stood at the counter for 15 minutes. I said no, so he took us to our room and brought our key cards 20 minutes later. It was just so frustrating after a long day. Checking in should be easier than that.
