The hotel shuttle was harsh on my parents check luggage and they broke the wheels. I tried to talk with them and ask for compensation but they said they cannot do anything about it but to call the shuttle service. Like how? It’s their hotel shuttle and we are foreigners. At the end they just said they’ll email us so we have to drag a big suitcase around the airport without any wheels. As of right now, there is no closure on how they want to solve this or compensate us. And mind you this is a new suit case.

I’m conflicted about this property. It’s definitely more spacious than many of the places I stayed at in Korea, and it was clean. The shower and bathroom each had their own door, which is surprisingly hard to come by in Korea. However, the laundry situation was a nightmare. The machines required specific Korean coins and bills, and I had to go up and down three times just to get everything the machine needed. The instructions were unclear, and their exchange machine was broken. When I asked the front desk for coins, they were nice at first, but then I felt like they gave me attitude. I explained that I had no choice, their machine wasn’t working, and asked politely for help, but I was met with indifference. Lastly, the AC didn’t work! It was so humid in my room. I couldn’t believe that in such a nice hotel, the AC wouldn’t go below 76°F. I woke up sweating. I really wanted to like this place, it has a lot of potential, but the AC issue and laundry inconvenience really ruined the experience for me.

Hotel location near Terminal 2 and the reliable shuttle service were much appreciated. Room was small but serviceable. Our biggest dissatisfaction was the lack of a restaurant that offers a la carte options rather than being forced into a voluminous and expensive buffet. We wanted a light meal and consequently went without dinner and breakfast. Because of that, we will seek another hotel on our next transit through Seoul.

This ibis was great we had a 12 hour layover on our way to London the room was big bathroom was incredible the bed was comfortable and also nice and close to the airport with convenient shuttle to both terminals, the dinning and food options were also very good they had a convenience store, a buffet and room service so you can choose what style you want to eat depending on yourself and all was amazing would definitely recommend
