Hotel was well kept, staff was kind.

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Rochester. They claim to have “quiet hours” in the evening but they don’t enforce it. We were in a room on the first floor and could not relax or sleep in our room because of the noise coming from the bar and guests outside. There is no staff on site in the evenings. I called the hotel’s main number for help with this issue and spoke with someone who couldn’t care less about the problem. If you think you’re getting a quaint, quiet, boutique hotel - you’re wrong. They would rather be selling fancy mixed drinks to locals than be accommodating to their hotel guests. At $350/night it’s just disgusting the way we were treated.

Staff was amazing, parking and laundry were great. Highly recommend to anyone looking to do day hiking trips based out of Durango

Taylor was amazing at check in! She was so attentive and let me know about all of the fun and exciting projects in the making on the property. Beautiful property, looking forward to visiting again!

It’s a great location. Walking distance to everything you need. The property was clean, parking was on site and everyone was very friendly. The room we had was great. Plenty of space and very nice.

Rooms are well retrofitted and retro neuvo I would say! I’ve stayed here several times because I like the clean retro small hotel atmosphere! Parking is cramped, don’t bring a large RV like vehicle!
