"Beware of the extra costs"
Chose this hotel as a special treat whilst visiting my Son in Cambridge for four days. lovely hotel close to train station and short walk from city centre. Not the only one to be taken aback when arriving for breakfast to be told only continental breakfast is included in the price of the hotel stay - any cooked food has to be paid for extra. Also when I asked for green tea ( which is all I drink) was told this wasn't available as standard with breakfast and would cost £4 for a pot. Also left a polite note in the room asking for a couple of green tea bags instead of coffee sachets - the reply left for me was " no sorry none available" Hence I went out and bought my own green tea and didn't go for breakfast for the rest of my stay. Very dissapointing for a hotel of this standard.

"Lovely hotel close to Cambridge centre."
Would recommend this hotel. Lovely location, clean and comfortable with very efficient staff. Service in the dining room was excellent and the food very good. My only two criticism, no draws in the bedroom and they didn't change the dinner menu during the four nights we stayed with them.

Redwings Lodge Sawtry

"Adequate facilities for one night stopover."
Redwings Lodge is a low budget two story motel just off the A1(M) near Sawtry. It offers adequate rooms with ensuite shower/toilet/basin with a complementary breakfast. (Cereal and/or toast) Its proximity to the motorway means that there can be a lot of traffic noise if the windows are open. It is clean and tidy but shows many signs of heavy use. E.g. Chairs in the bar/breakfast room need refurbishing. The bedroom carpet though clean had some stains. Frustratingly, the fitted hairdryer was nowhere near a mirrors so could not be used! Bed linen and towels were to a high standard. There was no phone in the room but free wifi was available if a bit slow. The two staff we saw were friendly and helpful.

"Wyboston Lakes Hotel...is a hidden gem"
What a great hotel. Difficult to find but well worth the effort. The staff were outstanding! Reception staff were pleasant and even printed out a route plan for us when we explained we found it difficult to find the hotel with our route plan. We were going to a wedding in Rushden the next morning This had been one of only two hotels available to us due to it being Silverstone weekend. We didn't know this area at all. Joanna a member of staff at breakfast was outstanding. She ensured my elderly parents had everything to hand..pot of tea, hot milk for cereal. All was ready when we arrived for breakfast on our second morning. Nothing was too much trouble. All the staff deserve a thank you. This hotel provides comfort, luxury ambiance without the price tag. We have already recommended it to friends and are already looking at returning ourselves. Thank you!

"Excellent hotel in centre of town"
Overall very good. Breakfast lets it down. Staff and reception not up to having a system to distinguish the required charge between full english and continental. Toast very under done and lack of butter etc on table. Reasonable overall but 'could do better'!

"Boutique hotel with great food and lovely library"
It's our second time at the hotel and I appreciated the extra mile the staff took to change our room upon arrival as we didn't like the bathtub being a feature within the bedroom rather than in a separate bathroom. I was disappointed that the housekeeping didn't replenish the complimentary bottled water every day and towards our 3rd day of stay our tea bags were also not replenished. I like the charming library which we can use to meet up with friends over drinks. The breakfasts at the Bistro were also something to look forward to in the mornings.

Huntingdon is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Huntingdon, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Huntingdon hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
