I stayed between 21-24 September for a business trip. Firstly there was no prior warning that there was currently construction happening at the hotel (if I had known this prior I would not have booked). There was a small lobby reception area to check people in with considerable wait times as a result. There was one working elevator the whole duration of the trip, with waiting times of up to 10 mins for the elevator to arrive. The key fob to enter the room would disconnect each time I left the hotel and returned, (I went all the way up to my room twice, waiting for my elevator for 10 minutes only to have to come back down to reception to have the fob reactivated). When I mentioned this the male receptionist said ‘Oh that’s just how it is’. On the second day of my stay housekeeping failed to clean my room. I requested clean sheets to be sent to my room later that day, to which I was told someone would bring some over. 5 hours later I had not received anything and so called again, only to be told there was a designated room where the sheets were housed and I should go there and grab them myself. It would have been nice to know this from the offset so I wouldn’t have had to wait on a false promise. It wasn’t all bad, the lady at the small desk was accommodating and helpful, and on the final day of my stay when I raised these issues, she advised someone would be in contact to compensate for inconveniences. Unfortunately, I’ve contacted twice after and am yet to hear back.

Very amazing and super clean hotel! My favorite one in DC!!!!

Not a fan of the check in

Chris who was on duty when we arrived was amazing! Very friendly and kind! The breakfast staff were amazing along with the bar staff- hotel is a little dated however we were looked after.

Great location. Easy check in. Clean room. Staff was super nice and helpful at check in. Just a great place to stay.
