Rating this a 5 based on other hotels in the downtown area of Puerto Viejo do not compare to the location, amenities, free made to order breakfast, laundry service for a fee, bar, very clean and very helpful staff. The beds were comfortable and room spotless. We would stay here again.

The property is beautiful and the people who work there truly make the experience amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

Here’s a polished review you can post: We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aguas Claras in Costa Rica. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!

Wonderful site in the midst of the jungle at seafront. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, exciting experience. Nice beach, but not well maintained, maybe because of the season? (beginning of June). Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and very good meals.

We stayed at this property for four nights and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful landscaping, colorful flowers, and butterflies surrounding the property. Our room was spotless, smelled wonderful, and was cleaned daily. The staff were always kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and we also loved having an on-site restaurant for dinner. Traveling with children, this convenience made a huge difference, and the food was absolutely excellent. The property is easy to access, feels very safe, and everything was impeccably maintained. We truly enjoyed the warm, family-like atmosphere and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Costa Rica. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!
