Excellent!

Our family is happy to stay for 2 nights. The place is comfortable. Free bikecycles are available for guests. Distance to the center is about 1.5 km. It is very easy to get anywhere.

Excellent little hotel

Loved everything about this place. Location was great - a bit out of town but loved to see local life. The room was big and very clean. The breakfast was amazing - freshly cooked to order (try the banana pancakes) Bikes are provided which we used daily to cycle into town and to the beach. The service from the staff was brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. The only slight thing to be aware of is the pool loses the sun at lunchtime.

One not to miss easy access to old Town by bicycle which are free from the Homestay Classed as 2star should be 3star Staff friendly and helpful Sol the receptionist can’t do enough for you Fresh towels every day breakfast can be purchased on site reasonable price and great variety and value All round excellent highly recommend

Clean, comfortable and tip-top service!

We had an excellent stay at a rural Scene Villa. Sol and her sister were very nice and provided excellent device. Housekeeping was great and the room was kept in very clean condition daily! We will be back to stay at RSV if we are in Hoi An again.

Super nice hotel but far location

This place is super clean and nice, but just so far from Hoi An town. The reception is very accommodating and gave me a ride into town when I was checking out. There are free bicycles, but it takes 15 minutes to ride into town, it became a big hassle. Otherwise the place is lovely.

Great place, very modern room and bathroom. The swimming pool while not huge was perfect. The staff are friendly, with Sol at reception a standout. She is such a genuine, warm person who is very helpful. The only drawback is the distance from town and eating places but they have a buggy shuttle each night and taxis very cheap. It’s very quiet except the local rooster (part if life in Asia). The ac worked well and the wifi was exceptional. There are a number of choices fir breakfast- both Western and Asian. The minibar has soft drinks, water and beer etc.

Very nice hotel and supportive staff.

Nice,small villa,run by family. Place is quite close to the old town or beach by the push bike. You will be able to find food on the each corner. I will go again to visit Vietnam.

Stunning Hotel

Fantastic place to stay. Staff couldn't be any friendlier. In a nice quiet location with swimming pool. Only 5 mins to Hoi An on motorbike or 15 mins on bicycle. The Hotel is immaculate!!

Happy in Hoi An.

Hotel less than a year old run by a wonderful family who could not be more welcoming and helpful. less than two dollar taxi ride from old town or half hour walk. Hotel provides daily/nightly free transport in converted golf buggy.Great pool and wifi for small boutique hotel. Beer in hotel for less than one dollar. Food good and very economical.

This was the best part of our stay in Hoi An. It was far enough from the tourist mobs that I could relax and I appreciated that it is in a local neighbourhood. The service was outstanding — the family that runs the place is lovely and so accommodating. The rooms were large, beautiful and immaculate. The pool is small but very peaceful. Extremely good value for the cost, though this is not true of meals, which were priced far too high.

Great little place

The staff here are wonderful and very helpful. We used the bicycles everyday to travel around and see the area. There is no shuttle to town but it's not that far to bike. The breakfasts were good and we had lunch here as well and a dinner. The food is tasty. Only wish they had safe deposit box in the rooms

A hidden gem !

The place was fantastic - we couldn't believe what we were getting for the price. Super friendly staff, modern, spotless, beautifully decorated and landscaped and the most comfortable beds I encountered in Vietnam. Couldn't have been better - 6 out of 5 stars!

New & clean , friendly family run villa.

The stay was excellent,the property is very new . It is a family run business and everyone will go all the way to help. The property is about 2km away from Hoi An old town,it is a easy 15min bicycle ride to the old town. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood and a good experience to sample some local life. Our family enjoy our daily bike ride to the market and An Bang beach.

The staff is amazing. Without a doubt the best service I have encountered in my travels. We came with our 1yo child and got a crib and the staff was very thoughtful. The villa is beautifully decorated and the pool looks wonderful (It was raining while we stayed there). Incredible value for the price.

Totally deserving of the 5 stars!

After coming across a 5 star rating on Hotels.com I was a bit skeptical, but after my stay I can confidently say that this place deserves all 5! They were so helpful with all our questions. The service was some of the best I have had. On our last day they even made us a delicious FREE dinner while we waited for our night train. So lovely, I can't recommend staying here enough.

Beautiful villa, amazing staff.

Amazing stay here. The villa is super clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and informative. The villa itself is a little bit out of the town but we easily rented bikes from the villa everyday. It was a nice 10-15 min ride into town. It was definitely worth it to stay out of the busy town and relax in this peaceful villa!

"Absolutely Amazing!!!"

This place is so beautifully decorated and brand new. It's even nicer than the pictures show. I booked 4 nights and ended up staying for 2 weeks. Everything was amazing from the comfortable bed to the rainfall shower in the bathroom. The staff were truly amazing. So friendly and genuine. The food that they cook is delicious and they are so kind and helpful. It is a little far from the old city so I would recommend renting a scooter but it is not absolutely necessary as they have free bikes and a golf cart that they will drive you into town for free. I highly recommend staying here as you will feel like home and it will be hard to leave this wonderful place. Thank you for a great stay!!! 10 stars :)

Hoi An's hidden treasure

Anybody who comes to Hoi An should stay here. I booked for 4 nights and ended up staying for 7. The location of the Homestay is very tranquil - it was a haven after leaving the busy streets of Hanoi. I had amazing views of the pool, palm trees and river from my room. The room itself is amazing. It's spacious, comfortable and clean with a fantastic bathroom and very tastefully decorated. The family is extremely friendly and helpful. They are genuinely kind and are passionate about the service that they deliver. Most of my interactions were with Sol who is an absolute star. She arranged tours for me, made sure I was comfortable at all times, arranged transportation for me to and from the ancient town and basically went out of her way to ensure that I had a memorable time. When I moved to spend a few days at the beach they even took me to the new location at no cost. In addition to this Sol took me on a tour around Hoi An and when the family heard that I wanted to go on a basket boat ride it was quickly arranged for me. My stay at Rural Scene Villa was by far my best stay anywhere in South East Asia. After a very delightful week here I felt like I was leaving old friends. The beautiful location, fantastic rooms, genuinely warm family and excellent value for money makes it a perfect choice for your visit to Hoi An. Stay here when you are in Hoi An, you will not regret it!

Beautiful and relaxing hotel, friendly staff

If you want to go beyond the normal tourist path this hotel is for you. We enjoyed staying here and relaxing on our balcony to view of the mountains or cooling off the in the pool. If you wish to go to the center of Hoi An the hotel has an electric car that will drive you there in a few quick minutes. We choose to walk to central Hoi An a few times or road the bikes which we rented from the hotel. It was nice walking/riding through Cam Nam because it was a local neighborhood with no tourists, which was a nice contrast to when we crossed the bridge into old town Hoi An which is beautiful but full of tourists. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.
