The room and beds were comfortable and clean. We had a view of the garden. The kitchen was a small common room, you could make a simple meal if you brought your own. It is in a very old building and the walls are thick so it was very quiet.

A lovely, relaxing place to stay in a beautiful pastoral setting located just 20 minutes from the ice lagoon - in my opinion the most beautiful spot in Iceland! Our room was very clean, bright and spacious with great views. Our hostess was helpful and offered freshly baked cookies to all. The exterior is not imposing but the inside is well appointed and kitchen facilities good. The bathrooms also were clean and well appointed. I would recommend it to anyone not looking for ultra-modern accommodation!

I loved how peaceful this property is. There is an old church and cemetery and the mountain rise up behind the lodging. There are a few good restaurants within 10 mins. The host made a yummy breakfast.
