Love love love my stay with Dormy Inn Hiroshima Annex! The location was prefect - just a 20 mins short walk from Hiroshima Stat. or 5 min bus ride (there's a bus stop 2 mins away from the hotel). It's located on the main street but the area was very quiet at night. They also provide shuttle bus to Hiroshima Stat. daily - only in the morning though and reservation is needed. A huge supermarket across the street which opens till 11pm - it has everything you need from food, snack, drinks, drugs store...etc. Staff was nice and accommodating - I've requested a room on higher floor during check-in and they were able to make the arrangement at the spot. Last but not least - their onsen on the top floor was amazing! Not only it opens everyday from 3pm till 10 am next morning - it's perfect if you're an night owl like me and prefer to have a late-night onsen session by yourself in the middle of the night! They also offered complimentary ramen, yogurt drink and popsicle throughout the day :) Will definitely come back again soon

The hotel was very well appointed and I knew what to expect having stayed in a Dormy Inn before. Great facilities that include onsen and free ramen. The location was slightly further from theain area but had a good range of restaurants within walking distance.

The room was tiny, but typical for Japan. The bathroom had an excellent shower, with great water pressure. The best part about the hotel was the onsen, our first introduction to this part of Japanese culture. The facilities were superb! The ice cream was an added bonus.

The Dormy Inn Annex was the perfect spot to base out of. We visited Miyajima while in the area and spent a morning at the Peace Park and Museum. We walked the shopping area in the area and it was so fun and easily accessible from the hotel. Specific to the hotel amenities, they offer tooth paste and tooth brushes in the lobby, supplies for children, and free coffee in the lobby. They offered breakfast at an additional cost but we politely declined. We stayed in room 603 and it was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked amazingly well, and the shower was clean and had strong water pressure. We loved the hot spring bath! I spent a good hour relaxing away. We will stay here again specifically for this amenity. There were Yakult drinks available to enjoy after the bath. Love it! Service was so wonderful, the front desk always had someone who spoke English very well. We were very happy with our visit.

Room design is good so even though it's small it doesn't feel cramped. Nice extras in the hotel such as free ice creams in the evening. I didn't have time for an onsen outside so using the one here was a nice beginner experience.

Very good location as walkable to main shopping and dining area. Walkable to A-bomb Dome. Room is small but very clean and functional. The hotel has large hot spring spa on the top floor and it's free to use. Also free ramen and ice cream in the evening. Excellent value for money service.
