This place is definitely a pro-and-con place. On the pro side, the room was very simple with no old carpeting on the floor or musty bed cover,the door and window worked fine, the bed and bedding was quite comfortable, the shower and sink worked fine, there was a small frig and a small microwave, and the TV worked fine. But on the con side, the staff had little interest in us, the parking lot over-filled each night, there was nothing for breakfast other than bad coffee, you could hear sounds from the parking loot and from the walkway, the room HVAC machine was disturbingly loud, and maybe worst of all, this "beachside" inn sits right on one of the main highways through town, far from any beach. If you want a simple place for a night or two, this place would do. But if you'd like a hotel you'd truly enjoy, look elsewhere.

This place wasn't amazing, but it did the trick and I got the impression it's one of the better options in town. The breakfast was decent (hard to complain when it's free!). The staff were polite. The room itself was pretty dated but the bathroom was new and very clean.

I liked the clean room I didn't appreciate the young man at the front desk not looking at me when we spoke. I couldn't see his face. He also cut me off twice. I booked the room through Expedia with my debit card. However the debit card was frozen due to fraud while I was traveling. So the front desk rudely said that I had to call Expedia and figure it out. I did and all was fine. Then, the TV in my room was damaged and didn't work. I called the front desk and he said he would come right over.....1 hour later...nothing. I went to the front desk and he acted like he knew nothing. He then said he had to move me to another room or give me a back $14 dollars for no TV. I worked at a hotel for years recently and that was not enough. So he moved me upstairs. I told him I couldn't carry all my stuff do to a recent surgery and he acted like he didn't care. So I slowly moved my dog and all my stuff up stairs. That all took two hours....waste of time. The room was not cheap and I'll never return. Wow, that was long.

The staff was awesome. Kathy was helpful, giving suggestions and very helpful. Thank you we had a great stay. Property is clean and basic features but nicely furnished.
