This property was probably stunning the day it opened. Unfortunately they have not kept up with maintenance, and so it is looking quite dated and feels a bit dirty even though there was nothing wrong with housekeeping. On the plus side, the pools were very well looked after by the pool team, the staff is exceptionally friendly. Great location, but don't recommend the buffet...

I am deeply disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It is advertised as a 5-star establishment, but the reality is nowhere near that standard. I completely feel like I did not get my money's worth. Here is a breakdown of why I cannot recommend this hotel: Misleading Amenities & Facilities: The description claims there are four swimming pools, which is a massive stretch—in my eyes, there is only one real pool. In the gym, the treadmill was completely out of order. As for entertainment, it was non-existent. The only "entertainment" you will find here is a cat wandering around the property during the day. Disappointing Buffet & Bar Service: If you don't show up early, the buffet empties out quickly. One evening at 9:00 PM, there was no chicken left. Even though the buffet doesn't close until 9:30 PM, the chef flat out refused to replenish it. Furthermore, they only provide water bottles upon arrival and do not replenish them during your stay, which feels incredibly cheap for an all-inclusive hotel. The bars were frequently left unattended, and the main bar closed at 5:30 PM instead of its scheduled 6:00 PM closing time. Room Maintenance & Front Desk Issues: My room flooded because the shower drain was completely clogged, and the toilet seat was loose. I had to ask the front desk three separate times to fix these issues. They only finally intervened after I escalated the matter and spoke directly to the manager. Ignored and Disappointed: Poor Communication by Hotel Management When we extended our stay, the hotel staff failed to inform us about a special 50% May discount. Although the manager later compensated us nicely, our experience with the hotel’s loyalty program has been extremely disappointing. Since our stay, we've made multiple attempts to register for the hotel’s loyalty membership. Despite discussing this directly with reception upon checkout (we were promised a follow-up that never came) and sending three subsequent emails, we've received no response whatsoever. It feels as though the hotel is deliberately avoiding our registration to prevent us from receiving the 10% discount on our next visit, especially concerning given their initial oversight regarding the 50% discount. We remain puzzled by this complete lack of communication from hotel management.

Our third stay. Always welcoming, lovely staff. Very clean rooms and facilities. Excellent restaurant. Beautiful pool area. We will return again one day.
