Great stay right in the heart of Heidelberg's old town. Above a really quite good little restaurant, very comfortable room, quiet, and well maintained. Staff was quite friendly. I was out and about most all of the time, didn't spend much time in the room. It was spacious though with good windows and sunlight.

The upper room with the view of the castle was spectacular. It was in the hub of Heidelberg close to everything we wanted to visit.

A nice, well kept hotel in a great area, right near the old bridge and and the center of the old city. Plenty of restaurants on the area, the hotel restaurant was completely full, so I didn't get a chance to try it other than the traditional German breakfast, but it must be good if they have a sign recommending reservations. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Heidelberg.

A unique hotel and restaurant. Somewhat dated and quirky. Unfortunately there is no close and convenient parking, but that is to be expected in an old city center in Europe. If you are not fit enough to carry your luggage for about a half a mile, you need to look elsewhere. Large room with sitting area and private outdoor space as well. Good location for visiting the historic sites in Hildelburg, and becomes very quiet after the main tour groups leave for the day.

Location was perfect. A few people celebrating Christmas in the streets throughout the night. But we were provided earplugs, which helped. Breakfast was quality and the coffee great Hot pots of coffee waiting for us at our tables. Wonderful touch. And they kept our bags after checkout so we could explore without them prior to our train departure. Vielen Danke!

What a find, and so close to the historic sights!

This is a cozy hotel and restaurant situated only steps from the Church of the Holy Ghost and the Alte Bruecke in historic Heidelberg. The staff is friendly, professional, and fluent in English and German. The restaurant offers terrific regional cuisine in a traditional Rhein-Neckar setting, and the hotel room are suite-size and very comfortable.

Small, charming property in the "old town" section of Heidelberg. Easy walk to dozens of restaurants, bars, shops, Christmas Markets, museums, and the funicular tram for Schloss Heidelberg. Staff was warm and friendly. Room was spacious and well appointed and even had a beautiful view of the castle.
