Harrisburg - Hershey Vacation Packages

My only complaint is that they do not even have a continental breakfast available. The restaurant is top notch ... but doesn't open until 9am

This place is absolutely beautiful and charming! It was so much better than I even imagined. Checking in was slightly confusing, but there is a main building with the restaurant where you check in. There ARE events going on, so on Saturday night, you could hear music and bass thumping into the night. Don't be surprised by the train that runs nearby and blows the horn sometimes during the night as well, but overall it was just lovely and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant was delicious, too! It was nice to have something that good on site. Thanks!

The room was clean - but very strange. It was touted as having a kitchenette. There was a sink and burner as well as cabinets but those were completely empty! Not a utensils or pan in sight. There was no closet and only 1 square drawer under the bench. Had an ice bucket but front desk said no ice. Breakfast was white or wheat bread -could toast- and small blueberry muffin. Coffee & juice had vending machine of snacks downstairs and empty vending machine & soda machine on 2nd floor. No elevator which wasn't apparent when I made the reservation. I later looked and it was way down in the information about accessibility. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we had to get everything up ourselves. Quite a disappointment, we will not be returning.

This was our first here and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious with large open areas around the bed, hot tub, and vanity. The shower had double showerheads, but was very slippery. There was moderate amount of wear and tear in the room, but it did not retract from our stay. We would come again and hope to visit the Cherry Hill location.
