I don't want to leave a negative review because I think the new owners of the property are trying to make it successful. However, there are issues I would want perspective customers to be aware of as they make a reservation decision. The rooms themselves were very clean. The entire property had recently been repainted other than the staircase. New customer should be aware that there is no elevator in the property in the main building. The direct television system was not working for us or the other couple who were staying in another room. It appeared that the overall system was down and the explanation given by the front desk was somewhat laughable. They said it wasn't working because they were out in the desert. However, it was a satellite system, so that is not a good reason. It appeared that DIRECTV was not available to anyone in the system which map it was broken down or just not available to the property any longer. The rooms were equipped with noisy air-conditioning, mini fridges, and microwaves. There was also signage that implied there was a restaurant on site for dinner and a bar however, those facilities were closed yet the signage was still up. So don't plan to eat dinner there. All in all, the new owners still have a substantial amount of work to complete to rehab the facility, but their pricing was very reasonable, and so being aware of the short falls before booking can help enhance potential customers view of value.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. The host made it very easy to find and order food to be delivered. It is far enough out to be a retreat but close enough to town for convenience and cell service.

Overall, we were disappointed in our 3 night stay at Best Western Plus. The front desk staff were welcoming and nice. The daily room cleaning was not done, other than making the bed and leaving clean towels; no floor sweeping, vacuuming or mopping was done, which is not acceptable with vinyl plank flooring. This is a hiking and golfing tourist area, so sand and dirt gets tracked in daily, so they need to do a better job of cleaning. The buffet breakfast changed daily, but staples were often "gone" like orange juice and yogurt. We liked the location for its closeness to restaurants and the golf course.

Hot tub was broken and wasn’t able to use in the elevators were broken and had to climb the stairs
