For the daily rate charged, you could get a hotel closer to or actually on the beach WITH a balcony and onsite amenities. I inquired about their advertised shuttle when I arrived and they told me it was not in service, with an overall lack of empathy or an apology. In the bathroom they missed a few areas to clean including the shower flooring. It had loose dirt or sand in there. Overall, I will not return here if I ever visit the area. The interior was maintained and modern but it just looked like an updated motel. Also, the walls are paper thin and a random alarm went off at night for a few minutes.

I think it would be more helpful if this property were listed in a different accommodation category. 1. The photos gave us a very different impression from what we experienced. We were looking for a unique or upscale hotel stay, but the property felt more like a budget short-term rental. The surrounding neighborhood did not match our expectations and did not feel comfortable to us. 2. Parking was inconvenient. Street parking has time restrictions, and we were not comfortable leaving our car there. The alternative parking garage was farther away than we expected and charges by each entry, making multiple trips inconvenient. 3. The room did not appear clean. We found dead flies on the windowsill in plain sight, and the carpet was old and had an unpleasant odor. Overall, the room did not meet our expectations for cleanliness. 4. I do want to compliment the owner for being very responsive and communicating promptly throughout our stay. Unfortunately, despite the good service, the condition and location of the property did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay at this property again.

This is our third time staying at the Breakers and we have no complaints about the hotel at all. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
