"Good Hotel very close to beach"
The hotel room was spacious, clean and quiet. The buffet breakfast was very good and there were plenty of staff available to clean away the dirty plates etc. The hotel was conveniently located for the beach. The hotel had a spa on site and osteopaths who were able to sort out a back problem that occurred when playing golf. I stayed at the hotel during August and the hotel was frequented by many families. This did mean that dinner in the restaurants could be noisey!

"Beautiful location"
Lovely hotel right near the beach..Plenty of shops and restaurants in a very short walk. Beach lovely, pools were great for the kids. If just a bit cold. rooms and facilities good, communal areas of the apartments a bit shabby. But not a problem. Staff nice and helpful if a bit slow. Plenty of water parks around. Free shuttle bus to alberfuia town.. Stayed here 3 times and love it will definitely been going back.

"Nice hotel deceptively close to the beach."
The beach is hidden across the street. The beach runs for miles. Beautiful tranquil spots amongst the rocks. Hotel is well catered for and has good facilities. Friendly staff. Lunch takes some time to reach you so don't wait till you're really hungry. Whilst waiting though we sampled their sangria. Went down a treat. Swimming pool is kept clean and a good layout. Not sure why they have a shallow end as its an adult only hotel. The peace and quiet however is bliss! A massive turkish bath in the spa area. We used all the facilities in the hotel. A fantastic experience and good memories.

"Nice location Room for improvement "
This would be a cracking place if the owners had finished the decor properly, doors not put in correctly either not closing or rattling in the wind , the curtains in the living rooms far too thin didn't keep the hot sun out , one issue either they put air con in or they stop the noisy groups of stag/hen parties as we could NOT open the windows after 10pm due to the noise from them partying on their balconies virtually all night !! Making the bedrooms too hot , plus points good location Being within walking distance to the old town An strip but not close enough to the strip to hear the noise lovely restaurants close by an 10 minute walk to the beach , Would be great as a family or couples only establishment

"High quality experience"
Very friendly and helpful staff, good size suite with balcony and view of the sea. Plenty of restaurants nearby and with 9 pools no overcrowding.A taxi ride into Albufiera much better value (€15 each way) than hoop-hopoff bus for a family.

"A good time for the 5th year running"
Overall we had a great week's holiday here. The main points in the hotel's favour, location and the professional, welcoming nature of the staff throughout help to outweigh the minus points. Having stayed here now for the 5th time, I will not be staying in one of the old Classic rooms again. The hotel needs to update these rooms in some way as they are looking increasingly tatty despite the efforts of the housekeeping team. My shower was not working properly - most water still coming from the tap - and the curtain sticks to you when you shower. The bathroom ceiling was not solid, with an unattractive view of cables and plumbing bits. The balcony was very tired with a patio door that required some muscle power to open/ shut! Finally, on opening the wardrobe on arrival, there was a very musty smell. Feels like the hotel is 'milking' these rooms for as long as they possibly can. However, beds are super comfy, the aircon is great and the housekeepers do the best job they can. The pool area has been updated - however we preferred it before! It looks very smart (apart from the wooden perimeter fence) but is now lacking any character, or shade! The pool snack/ slushie hut has gone and you now have to order everything from the restaurant team. As a result we spent our daytime food budget in the beach bar. Breakfast is good in the refurbed restaurant, but we did not use it at lunchtime/ supper, as we preferred other restaurants outside where there's more atmosphere.

"Excellent family holiday! "
We are just back from a week's b&b stay and had a fantastic time. The two bed townhouse was spacious and clean and had everything we could have asked for. The hotel staff were amazingly friendly and great with our son. We always had plenty of space at the pool, and it was an easy drive into carvoeiro to the beach or a restaurant. It was very handy to have the car, although the hotel offers regular shuttles to and from the beach (3 or 4 a day) so you could get away without one. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the condition of the whole place was excellent. The on site shop stocked the basics, and there is an Aldi, a lidl and an intermarche close by. All in a great holiday. The only minor niggles were that there was no salt or oil provided, so for a weeks stay we ended up wasting most of a bottle of oil and a whole container of salt. Stupid thing to moan about but would have been a nice touch if these had been provided. The other issue we had which was probably specific to out room was that there was a security camera on the wall of the balcony which adjusted position every 10 seconds with a loud whirring noise that could be heard throughout the apartment. Not enough to stop you sleeping but enough to set your teeth on edge and prevent you from reading a book on the balcony! All in, loved our stay and we will be back.

Guia is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Guia, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Guia hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
