A Timeless Favorite: Still Exceptional After All T

I’ve been coming to Barcelo since the late 1990s, and it has consistently delivered a great experience. The hotel offers exceptional customer service, unbeatable value, and a prime location. This time, I returned for a wedding reception held at the hotel and decided to stay overnight. Though it had been a while since my last visit, the moment I arrived, all the wonderful memories came rushing back. Barcelo continues to feel like a home away from home—reliable, welcoming, and timeless.

Overall satisfied w/ the exception of someone trying to get in our room at 8pm. The next morning we advised Guest services,response was that they were trying to give us something complimentary however didn’t say what it was said would be delivered next night nothing came. What I didn’t like was when I went to the restaurant by the pool, where I eat and had some tequila shots, but when I asked for lemon the lady taking my order brought me lemon juice saying they didn’t have real lemon! On top of that she added tip to the check when as far as I know in Guatemala tip is optional.
