I got charged here for a night and never even booked or wanted to stay here. Used to be my favorite hotel but a little disappointed in this experience. Very confusing.

The bathroom ceiling paint was cracked and peeling. The refrigerator worked very well and clean. Only one elevator was in service during my stay. I feel the Expedia reservation needs to do a better effort in clarifying which Hawthorn Extended Stay hotel is being reserved. There is an older property in Saint Clairsville, Ohio and a newer property in Triadelphia, WV. Saint Clairsville Ohio is 18 miles from the newer West Virginia hotel. Please be clear on future reservations. This location error seems to happen often

Solid accommodations at a reasonable price. Family friendly.

Only 1 elevator working for this huge hotel plus the elevator stopped on every floor even when no one was there Such a long line last night I climbed the steps to the 11th floor. Front desk seemed short on help. Only 1 person checking people in and one on the phone, each time I was at the front desk. Tried to call the front desk multiple times when our TV wasn't working and no one ever answered! No one outside or in lobby to help direct visitors or assist with luggage. Luggage carts hard to find. I was dappointed in the service at this hotel for the price. Checking out i said i hadn't seen anything about online checkout and the worker said because you booked third party and was not nice about it
