"Absolutely loved our stay."
My husband and I travel a lot, and while traveling for winter activities we always end up staying at all different types of places. We loved our stay in the cabins, and can't wait to go back! First of all we had plenty of space, they allow dogs, so we brought both of ours. We have two boxers, and a XL kennel, the room was large enough to fit their kennel and all four of us comfortably. Second is parking, we loved the fact that we didn't have to park our snowmobile trailer somewhere else, far from where we were staying, it fit right next to our cabin, they have so much space for parking and for the dogs to run. They also aren't far from Wolf creek, and as we learned you don't want to be on the other side of the pass when it was snowing like it was when we arrived. Another thing we loved was that they had full kitchens, so the first night we ran to the store and bought a lasagna and popped it in the oven and were able to spend a cozy night in our cabin. Lastly, I want to talk about how inviting Kandy is, we didn't get the chance to meet her husband, but I can say that even though the other things were great that I listed, what will keep us coming back is the owners, you just cannot find people like her anymore. So I would have to say that if you want to see a friendly face, use their perks of parking, or just flat out want somewhere that feels like home to stay, I would recommend Chinooks every time.
