Overall our experience was positive but there is room for improvement. The lobby has clearly been recently renovated and looks nice. The rooms are clean and spacious, but they are a little dated and there is a lingering musty smell in the hallways. Bathrooms are similarly clean, but in need of an update (our tub had rust stains and the flange of the shower head was no longer attached to the wall). When we checked in, staff were kind but swamped so we ended up waiting as they dealt with in-person check-ins and people making phone reservations. Additionally, they told us our room number out loud (rather than saying "you're on X floor" with the full number written in the key folder), which I believe is no longer done to protect the security and privacy of guests.

The room we were provided had dirty sheets and an unmade bed. There was no wifi available. Although we were moved to another room less bad, but far from good, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. sadly this will impact our plans to visit Grand Falls in the future as there are very limited options and this hotel is disgraceful

Stayed here once before. I knew this hotel was dated but they had excellent food then. Definitely not the same now. Our first supper was ok. The second supper was discussing. A twelve yr old could have cooked a better meal. I do not recommend.

There is no elevator so be aware that you are going to lug your own suitcases up 12 chairs and 2 landings. Very old hotel with musty smell. Dining room was good food .

Not well Maintained

The hotel smelled, no TV, no restaurant opened. The hotel needs upgrading badly. Had to walk up two flights of stairs to get to our room. Air conditioner was not working the best. Bathroom was tiny, towels stained. Carpet was filthy.
