The room was in really bad shape. Broken light fixtures, cracked sink, bathtub and toilet seemed to have cigarette burns on the seat. Mold in the shower. The staff was very friendly. This hotel needs some talc.

We had the worst night sleep, our room #320 right behind the elevator; there were the knocking sounds all night every 10-15 minutes that kept us up all night. The desk lamp was broken and the room’s lock did not close automatically you need to push or pull very hard to lock depending if you inside or outside. The shower drain not very well. The bed was itchy but I do not see any bugs. We always shower before bed too. Breakfast was ok, only self-made waffle, some bananas, apples & tangerine, juice & coffee that were good. Egg pancakes was too well done, sausage, biscuits & gravy, instant oatmeal, milk and yogurt, etc.

When looking at this listing it was misleading as we had to pay $15 extra dollars for bedding. There was only a bath house for a restroom which was shared by the whole campground. Per pictures we thought the yurts had to share the bath house but that the cabins had a restroom in them. The yurts came with bedding but the cabins do not. We arrived at 1300 and we were told to wait til 3 pm to check in. We went and did our outdoor activities and when we arrived back after 6 pm there was a sign on the door that said to call the # to check in and no check ins after dark the lady that checked us in was very nice. Glad we arrived before dark. With an active location for hiking biking and other activities you would not want to be left out in the cold because you arrived after dark.

The room was not ready at 3 PM. We tried checking in around 3:50 and were told it would be another 15–20 minutes. My daughter and I waited about 25 minutes, and at 4:15 the room still wasn’t ready. They initially tried to downgrade my room because that was all they had available. I explained that not only had we been waiting past check-in, but now they wanted to downgrade a room I already paid for. I asked for some type of compensation. After the two front desk employees went back and forth, they said my original reservation was for an accessible room and eventually put us in what they called an executive suite. When we finally got upstairs, the room reeked of cigarette smoke even though this is supposedly a non-smoking hotel. There was only one washcloth, the refrigerator was dirty, there was no ice bucket, and the couch was filthy. While waiting downstairs, I also overheard the front desk discussing one of the housekeepers “being in a mood today.” The worst part happened the next morning. Checkout was 11 AM, and I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. At 10:40 AM, housekeeping did not knock or announce themselves—they simply opened the door to room 406 while my daughter was changing! There was absolutely no reason for anyone to enter our room without knocking, especially 20 minutes before checkout with a Do Not Disturb sign displayed. Thankfully, we were only there for one night. From check-in to checkout, this was not a good experience at all.
