the shower stall was very slippery and there was no grab bar.The hotel was dated, there were threads hanging from the couch.

Wistful location and a beautiful room. Very large with a nice sitting area, decorated with a spa like touch. Very comfy bed, waffle towels and bathrobe. Local toiletries to make you feel connected to the area. Conveniently located across the street from one of the best restaurants in St John’s the Mallard Cottage. An authentic experience all around with a luxury touch!

It was a lovely historic property with beautiful rooms and bathrooms and only about a 10 minute drive from downtown St. John's. Would definitely stay again.

The room was spacious and comfortable with useful amenities. Access was easy and we never had cause to contact any staff. Parking on the street was difficult to find, but the location was central and we could walk to most places.

This was a wonderful place! So comfortable and clean!

Staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and informative. Breakfast was good for a quick on the go one. Building and room had great ambiance and location was perfect.
