Condovac La Costa – Budget Experience The location is convenient to Coco Beach, but Uber is still around $20 USD each way, so transportation adds up quickly. This is definitely a budget-oriented resort. Food was very basic and repetitive, often with items unavailable, and there was no access to food between meal times. Bar and drink options were also very limited. Don’t expect a typical all-inclusive experience. The resort is built on a VERY steep hill, making you reliant on the shuttle. It runs fairly regularly but always seemed unavailable when we needed it for something time-sensitive. Unfortunately, something was stolen from our room, so keep your belongings secured and don’t leave valuables out. Housekeeping also left our air conditioning off and curtains open. Be cautious booking tours through Jr, aka “Mr. Solutions,” on the beach. Communication was difficult, plans changed, and we felt completely screwed over. Get everything confirmed in writing and think twice before paying deposits upfront. The gift shop is limited, so bring essentials like contact lens solution and aloe. Wi-Fi is basically restricted to the lobby and some pool/restaurant areas. English is limited among much of the staff, which made communication difficult. Our room wasn’t ready at arrival, and when we needed help getting to a medical centre, the resort offered no meaningful assistance. They also stopped responding when we cancelled our shuttle and asked about parking.

The party room made it very hard for many rooms to enjoy a quiet evening. The music/entertainment radiated through hundreds of rooms until midnight or later. There were not enough washrooms. Several pools had to share one washroom as did the restaurants. With two swim up bars served by one washroom, it was obvious that tge pools were used as washrooms. Some of the pool filters were not working which left a lot of debris in them.

Really nice

We stayed at the property to attend a conference. The property was nice and the staff very friendly.

What a spectacular location, extremely private and beautiful. The accomodations are absolutely spotless and welcoming staff. But be sure you have four wheel drive or arrange for transportation.
