The humidity in the guest rooms was terrible. Everything from the sheets to our luggage felt wet. We kept the AC as low as possible, but that did not make a difference. The bathroom door rubbed on the floor when opening and closing. The quality of the television was poor. Staff was nice, but not enough to overcome the negatives. I would not recommend staying here.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If possible get the river view room. The amenities was the great, the hotel comes with a house car that takes you downtown about a 3 mile radius and they have bike you can use. Therooftop bar view was amazing especially for the sunset over downtown Savannah

It was helpful to have breakfast, which was adequate and included a couple of hot items. The buildings are definitely older, Having the bedroom upstairs left plenty of room for the kitchen and living room. No closet upstairs so luggage and clothing downstairs was a bit inconvenient. The second bathroom was very helpful. Our checkout experience was terrible! We were to check out at 11 AM on Saturday. Unfortunately, I had a stroke Friday night at 10 PM. As a result, I was taken by ambulance to a major hospital with a stroke center in Savannah Georgia. My husband returned to our rental at 7 AM Sat morning. He explained the situation to the person at the front desk who was asleep when my husband approached him. He assured my husband a late checkout was ok and he would note in the system so the daytime staff would be aware. Unfortunately, there was miscommunication with the staff, and they were screaming at my husband and actually entered our room while he was getting in the shower a little after 11 AM. Two different staff members became involved and both women, including the manager, continued to raise their voices and demand he be out of the room in five minutes. He tried to explain and asked they contact the gentleman he spoke with that morning and they refused. Even though he was out of the room by 1 PM, they charged us for an additional night. Terrible, unprofessional, unacceptable behavior. No customer service at all. Would never go back.
