We had an amazing room with a beautiful view of the mountains, and the room was very comfortable. The only minor suggestion was having cell phone chargers as otherwise you need a German power adapter is coming from the US. Highly recommend this property!

My husband and I had an amazing time on our trip and our stay at the Hyperion made that possible. The staff was so amazing and friendly. Our room was breathtaking along with the view. We plan on returning next year and staying at the Hyperion.

The hotel was nice overall. The customer service and staff attentiveness were excellent; however, when we were there, they were experiencing a heatwave. The air conditioning was nonexistent. The room was extremely hot, making it impossible for us to sleep, and during the day, we couldn't stay in the room. It was just uncomfortable. It's not necessarily their fault, but they just kept telling us that the air conditioner was broken. We found out that there isn't an air conditioner! I'm sure the stay would have been more pleasant if it were cooler! Note that the provided pillows are very thin. If they don't work for you, ask the desk for a different pillow type. We discovered they had different pillows available as we were checking out. LOL!

We stayed at the Hotel Alpina (H-Hotel property) in August 2025 for a night. We were upgraded to a Jr Suite and the room was absolutely amazing. It was spacious and had breathtaking views of the mountains from the Balcony. Morning breakfast was also very good, loved how the hotel was eco friendly with minimal to no use of plastic.

As an American, we specifically stay here every time we are in Garmisch! A little spendy, but well worth the splurge. The breakfast is outstanding and keeps us coming back. The rooms have air con, comfortable, and are well appointed with great views! 10/10. Additionally, the staff is wonderful and attentive. A very welcoming place to stay.

Great, clean hotel with a lovely breakfast that has a lot of variety. Fruit selection is awesome and it's really nice that they cut up the oranges and grapefruit for you, makes it much easier to eat. Room had strong AC which was definitely needed in the summer heat. Staff was very friendly too.

The facilities like small indoor pool, sauna and steam room were good. I stayed in a deluxe room 130 and there was lots of room and a large king sized bed. Aircon was good. Good view over rooftops to mountains. Breakfast was very good. Reception and dining staff were very nice and helpful.
