This property is in a car-free zone and can be reached by gondola from 7 AM to 10 PM. Guests will park at Wildenau 3a, 82467 Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The gondola seats 4 people and the ride takes 4 minutes. It is not possible to reach or leave the property after 10 PM. Guests with excess luggage or a medical reason not to take the gondola must contact the office in advance to arrange for shuttle service.

Amazing experience staying and dining at Das Graseck! Fantastic amenities and easy access to many different walking routes/loops. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many options. Highly recommend the half board option to include tasty and beautifully plated 5 course dinners. Martin at the front desk is an incredible resource to help plan your activities during the stay.

Unique location and great hotel

Fantastic stay. We loved the hotel. The location is unique - you are above Garmisch in a remote area. The hotel is accessible via cable car. The views from the hotel are amazing. Great food and very professional staff.

It was a good atmosphere. The staff were not that welcoming. Nothing special in terms of service or what we got, e.g. other less exclusive properties have had better service; had staff taking our luggage all the way; champagne at breakfast; a welcome drink, etc, etc. Das Gracek had none of the above. We stayed at schloss elmau previously and the service, amenities and overall experience was so very much better. So, overall, a disappointment

This place is magical... It is everything it advertises - a mountain get-away where you can rest and recharge in a beautiful setting in the Alps, with direct access to incredible hiking, a wonderful spa, superb food, and pampering service. They attend to all the details to make your stay luxurious. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing retreat and especially if you like to combine great food with trail running, hiking, or rock climbing. Das Graseck is just amazing!!

Piece of paradise!

This hotel is a gem! By far the best hotel we have stayed in! It can only be accessed by a cable car. Views from the rooms are breathtaking! We bummed into the owners on the cable ride. They were so humble and polite! The staff if extremely helpful and polite.

Fantastic Hotel, Location and Staff

Considering all the hotels on our 2 week European vacation, Das Graseck was by far our favorite. It is a stunning, modern hotel with amazing food, amenities and a wonderful staff. They were also able to get us into a room quickly even though we arrived a few hours before checkin. It was our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary and they made our stay very special with an upgraded room. The spa is also one of a kind, highly recommend it. We will definitely be back to visit this hidden gem.
