We were welcomed warmly when we first arrived. The staff was friendly & gave us her recommendations when asked. Though we selected our type, she still gave us better options - location, distance to the street, & floor. It definitely made us know we picked the right place to stay for the night.

The hotel facilities were very nice. The front desk was extremely kind friendly and informative. The facility is located in a very unique and beautiful place and I had a wonderful day.

The overall room was clean, and comfortable. The carpet had a strong chemical smell which set off my dog's coughing and breathing problem. It was so bad we had to check out a day early to get my dog home to Vet for medication.

No elevator for my handicapped partner, otherwise everything and everybody was and were great. Cool view out over Gualala bay from our window. Some surprisingly good restaurants in this little area. Cove Azul was very good.

Very disapointed with: (1) Property Internet server blocked my access to Contra Costa Food Bank, most likely somone inexpericed IT novice put restricition on the server to block gaming sites etc and but affected legitimate sites. They should state in their hotel ammenites that they offer "limited" internet. I would have not booked this properity if this was disclosed when booking. I never had this issue with other hospitality venues. I will not go back. (2) Paking is limited and difficult to exit without multiple turns, recommend they restict large trucks NOT to park on lower levels where cars have to turn around to exit.

Still one of my favorite places

Definitely improved since the last visit. I've been staying here about 15 years. But there are a couple things that may need improvements still. Such as the beds are not very comfortable. And bricks for pillows. Also, there was no coffee machine in the lobby.Therefore, the only coffee available is toilet coffee and not into that. Also I got the young lady that says, I don't know when I ask about that.. the parking lot is a bit tight.If you own a truck unless you luck out and get one of the bigger spots. Besides all that, it's still a good value. Real close to the beach and food isn't much farther. You could definitely walk to both.

The only reason I gave cleanliness a 3 is because house keeping doesn’t clean the room during your stay. I prefer places that offer daily housekeeping service. The front office staff was very friendly and even offered a few dining recommendations during our stay with them. The mattresses in our room could use some updating due to a bit of sagging in the middle of the bed as I’m sure they have a busy location. Other than that the stay was pleasant
