This was a quick girls trip. the Beachcomber was, friendly, clean and as close to the water as you could get as well as only a few minutes from the Skunk Train. We will definitely be back

The staff at the beachcomber was so friendly and welcoming it was so nice to see that! Just walked out our patio and headed to the most amazing beach we have ever seen. 5 min away and there are tons of restaurants and shops, we had the most amazing stay!

The bed was comfortable and the shower water got warm enough. We both sleep really well. I enjoyed the fire pits outside but was disappointed that the captains deck did not have fire. We were given an upstairs room which thankfully has a balcony but if you have neighbors was not private.

The room was very nice. Room was clean and any requests for towels or anything were promptly handled. Water pressure in the shower was very low but not a deal breaker. We had a very nice 3 night stay. They allowed our dog as well.

This is a quirky little beachside motel with access to some beautiful trails on the Fort Bragg bluffs overlooking the ocean. There is a paved walking trail right in front of the motel that follows the coast and crosses the adjacent historical trestle bridge. Convenient driving access to the town for restaurants, the “glass” beaches, Skunk train, etc. The motel itself is a bit dated for the pricing. We had a couple/child in one room with two queens and grandma in another room with a king. The two-queen room was pretty cramped. Bathroom is very small and the sink is in the main room, which is very odd. Also only one sink for a two bed room and very limited counter space. The property is showing its age. Staff was friendly and the coastline there is stunning. If you have an ocean view room, the view is great - we were on the second floor and the view made everything else seem less of an issue. We had a handicap placard due to grandma and there were two handicap spots, but an old beat-up van was consistently parked in the “no parking” space next to a handicap spot, making it nearly impossible to back out. Apparently this is someone who works on the property - I asked on the second day if they could move that vehicle and they eventually did. It’s a decent place to stay for maybe a night or two but for longer you may want to shop around.

This setting in Fort Bragg is spectacular, offering beautiful views out of the rear (glass) doors and wonderful options for walking on the bluffs looking over the Pacific. The room itself was modest in size. Amenities were fine. The toilet was a bit contrary. The setting made up for any shortcomings.
