If you just need a place to sleep and shower, the room is nice and clean with great hot/cold shower. The mini fridge and tv are working properly. The great thing we loved is the accessibility to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The staff were awesome. Our reservation was messed up somehow but they found us a room and were so super nice. They are renovating some areas but again the staff were the best and the room was very comfortable. We will go back for sure.

Property was clean and well appointed. Be aware that this property and access is managed 100% remotely which we were not aware of until arrival. (They just text you the door code for the room etc.). It ultimately worked out we just weren’t aware. We also got double billed for the property balance upon arrival but got it resolved after a few outreach communications with management. Worth the stay if you don’t require staffed amenities onsite.

Tuggles Gap Roadside Inn was pet friendly for my goldendoodle Sadie, she felt comfortable and there's plenty of areas to walk her. The room was clean and the staff was very understanding. I arrived after hours, called for access information and misunderstood the access code. I had to call back, staff made sure I was able to get in my room while they were on the phone.

This place took our money and we're not even open. Then refused to give us a refund when we arrived and found the place completely abandoned! No staff, no renters, no access to main area for food, no breakfast as advertised! Be very wary and don't stay there!!

Charming Property

Tuggles Gap Roadside Inn is a charming roadside Inn that has been recently renovated. The rooms are tastefully decorated, contemporary yet rustic . The owner is friendly and helpful I highly recommend staying here when passing through or exploring the area.

Loved this little Inn. We really enjoyed our stay. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Very clean and newly renovated. Breakfast was very good with the best coffee ever!!

There was no staff on site as it was a keyless entry. There weren't any amenities because the general store and dining room were not operational. None of this was related to me when I made the reservation, even though both things were mentioned and highly rated in previous reviews. I feel duped - you couldn't even get something as basic as ICE!!
