"A rustic lodge/hotel in the mountains. "
The hotel is a bit worn around the edges, but was clean and comfortable. The staff was great, and had suggestions for food/dining and supplies. The location is PERFECT for Yosemite visitors. Just 2 miles from the South entrance, and 6 miles from Wawona.

"Place that kept us warm on a cold December night"
We had a great experience with Tasha at the front desk who was extremely courteous, welcoming, and helpful. Not only she checked us in fast after normal hours, but also gave us lots of helpful tips for the upcoming Yosemite visit. The room and facilities fully met the expectations - the heating system and the laundry machines were working perfectly, and this is what we needed most!

"Nice condo!! Spacious w everything a family needs"
We arrived late but there was a staff member to check us in. The condo was bigger than I thought it would be based on the picures online. It was like a second home for our family because everything we needed were there! I would highly recommend this place to my firiends n family; most likely will return to it if we got out for a trip to yosemite again.

"Life in a tent cabin"
Honestly, the only thing I was expecting was a place to lay my head because we were staying only one night. So, in this case, that would be a cabin frame with canvas over it and a bed. Instead, we also got a ceiling fan, soap and shampoo, bath towels and a refrigerator. Each tent cabin has its very own deck and chairs to fully appreciate the nature around you. And you can grill your own food. Since this is primarily a campground, there were centrally located restrooms and showers. Be aware that at certain times there was a line for the showers. There is a resort next door and guests can use their pools and restaurants. Went to the resort's bar and grille and had pretty decent hot wings and excellent blue cheese dressing. Other than these places there is not much nearby in the choice of dining.

"Good self catering accommodation"
This hotel is close to the entrance to Yosemite National Park. However, when we visited there was a landslide so we had to drive 3 hours to an alternative entrance. Check the road has reopened before you book. We had a large room with two beds, a kitchenette with a full size cooker and a roomy bathroom. There was a fan and an a/c unit.

The Pines Resort - Bass Lake Hotels

"Relaxing resort on the lake"
The views were amazing. It offers a lake with water sports, Olympic lap pool, hot tub and sand with fire pit, all right on the shore of the lake. We stayed in a chalet and the beds were hotel quality. The chalet felt very much like an A frame ski cabin. Rustic but comfortable. All the amenities of home including air conditioning upstairs in the main living area and downstairs in the bedroom. Jennifer, Deana, Michelle and all of the other staff were very friendly and helpful. They never made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. The rooms have a full kitchen but if you want to eat out you should go upstairs to Ducey's bar and grill. We also rented a pontoon boat and they were very friendly and helpful. Are you getting the idea that we enjoyed our stay at The Pines resort?

Fish Camp is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Fish Camp, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Fish Camp hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
