The property is very well kept. First and foremost it was clean and safe. I was able to park right outside my door (as I believe everyone can). Everything in the room functioned well. It was a very large room, so there was no shuffling around the bed. It's not far from the gate at Yosemite, so you can be in the park early.

There was no 5G signal and the room wifi did not work. The bathroom door did not close. The hotel restaurant was a joke. For breakfast they serve a continental style breakfast and half the food is inedible, but charge over $20.

You're paying a premium for the location, not for the accommodations. It's pretty basic, but it's only 8 miles from the Yosemite entrance. Breakfast is available, but the only option is a mediocre buffet that costs $25 per person, and you can do better in the park.

It is about 40 mins drive from Yosemite destinations. Pretty quiet place but place we stayed in was pretty old. Had a blackout on the day we stayed due to 100 degree weather probably overworking the AC.

This wasn’t a bad place considering the choices in the area near the park. Had a convenient store within the office area and also 2 restaurants(1 open for breakfast and they really get you with only a buffet @21.95 worth about $10) and a bar. A lot here is about convenience because there’s. no walkable options. FYI, Shampoo, no conditioner or lotions. The river across the street in a Parklike setting is nice w some picnic tables and grills.

The Cedar Lodge was a great location for a quick Yosemite trip. The staff was super friendly upon check in. They have a store in the main building for anything you may have forgotten and some Yosemite swag. Check in was smooth and there is plenty of parking. The room was a little outdated, but clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. Nice size in room fridge that kept everything cold. We checked out super early in the morning to get to our hike and there was a convenient drop box outside the main lobby door.
