Average hotel

The location of the hotel was great but everything else was average. The sheets , towels and rooms overall are old. They need to upgrade for sure.

This property is rustic, 2nd closest to El Portal Yosemite. Property was dated, but clean with lots of parking and swimming/picnic areas. Restaurant had breakfast buffet but not really worth $25 pp. Overall a nice overnight sleep and back to Yosemite.

Not the greatest.

We stayed in a junior suite just overnight for over $300. The room we stayed in was in pretty poor condition. The air conditioner was so loud we needed ear plugs and the room was way too hot to not have it on. The king sized bed was as hard as the floor. The pull out couch bed did not have much of a mattress, just steel springs. The Murphy bed was semi comfortable. Towels and linens need refreshed. It did have a working fridge. I did not complain to staff on site as it was already late and we were exhausted from having spent the day hiking yosemite. The restaurant at the hotel had buffet only breakfast for over $20 per person. Gift shop was cute though. Would not stay again. Would not recommend.

Room looks like it has not been decorated since the 70s. Smelly and grimy. All of the food options are absolutely awful.

great location, close to Yosemite with a reasonable price. the Merced river is 2 minutes from it , and we want to swim. the fan in the bathroom and the air condition were very noisy. The Internet access was very slow - unusable

Enjoyed our stay at the property, with two exceptions. First, the air conditioning (heat and cold) blew straight up the curtain, against the window causing the cool to to the hot window and never blow to the room. Second, the wi-fi was flat awful. I know it's the wilderness, so that is fine, but when you advertise high speed internet, there's a minimum quality expected.

A decent property on the way to Yosemite's El Portal entrance. OK room. Had to walk to the office to access a microwave which was inconvenient. Nice pool and hot tub, one covered and one open. Nice location across the Merced river.

Ok to stay one night at this outdated motel Mattress is worn, I had to sleep in the middle to feel somewhat firmer. TV signal was weak so reception was going in and out Breakfast at restaurant is buffet only, $21.99 per person, nothing to rave about Will not stay again

Good

It was great. Hotel needs some maintenance and upgrades but overall it was clean and confortable. Food options need to be improved and enhanced since it is mostly fast food. I am diabetic and most options were not healthy choices and the menu had little options, though they had some salad, but meats were breaded, and other options were hambergers or similar type of food. For a night is kind of ok to eat anything available but we booked 2 nights so we ended up eating fast food for the complete stay of 2 days. We complemented with snaks from the store they have but it is expensive for a family of 5. We also arrived the 1st day near the check in time at 3 pm, hungry, but the restaurant opens at 5 pm and there is no other place to eat nearby.
