Fantastic hotel. Brilliant breakfast Lovely rooms. I would’ve scored it higher, but the pool area lets it down. Broken sunbeds, very tired area. Like I said the breakfast was brilliant, but we had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was poor! Definitely not worth the €25 per head

Clean, modem hotel with good sized rooms. Location was excellent, in the old town. Bus station was next to hotel but there was no noise or problems, rather it was a bonus for being able to get around. Included breakfast was generous with lots of variety on offer.

Amazing hotel, very convenient for walking everywhere. All the staff were fantastic, especially Daniel on reception who was exceptionally helpful. Room was lovely, looking over the marina. Pool bar was great. Breakfast was fab, plenty of choice. Will be booking again for next year

The property is in a great location for trains, buses, ferry for the beach. Easy to walk into the old town. The property itself is tired and needs refreshing. The pool area i feel is unsafe, the steps into the pool are not bolted to the ground securely, and one set has the steps missing. Our room was on the 4th floor which means you get noise from the breakfast room above, chairs being dragged along the floor etc. 410 was our our room situated next to staff cleaning rooms, this also creates early noise. Overall, would I stay again, probably not, but would consider they had a deal on.

Worst Hotel Hospitality in Portugal

The staff were terrible. We had travel issues and when I called to modify my reservation, with dire need of support. Sara from reception was rude and condescending. She refused to let me speak to the manager, Antonio, or even try to help.

2nd time staying, as good as we remember!

Stayed May 24, for 3 nights, had a great time so booked a 4 day trip July 25. The rooms are never available before 2pm so always hectic if you want to check in then. Stayed in room 305 with balcony overlooking the marina. Lovely room. Had an issue with the door not shutting without slamming. On one occasion we returned to our room approx 3:30pm and found the maid had not shut the door properly! Not great really!! Rooms cleaned daily, although they never replenished the milk sachets in the fridge so had to get some from breakfast to take to the room, also didn’t clean the coffee mugs. Only a small thing, Staff on reception were fantastic Roof top terrace amazing, always lots of sun loungers available and a huge pool. Very reasonably priced. Large beer only €5 (same as everywhere in Faro. Breakfast was wonderful, fabulous atmosphere with pianist playing daily. Great choice and good quality! Lovely 4 day stay, and we will definitely return! Obrigado!

The hotel is renovated recently and fairly nice looking. The staff was a little wooden in greeting us and provided no information about the hotel or surrounding area at check in. The room was big by European standards and was well kept. The safe was a nice thing to have in the room. The bathroom was ok. The hotel was well located close to buses, trains, the waterfront and restaurants. The pool on the roof top was nice although it could have used a little better upkeep.

Staff were amazing my wife had a medical emergency involving a 10 hour hospital stay. We visited the pool bar on our last night, very disappointed it appeared the barman had his friends round for a Rap session.
