This was a very different place to stay when compared to other places. The breakfast was home cooked vs many other places we have stayed. The only critique is that housekeeping came later in the afternoon, usually when we were resting.

Find another place

If you have mold sensitivities or other chronic health issues, you need to know that you must walk through a terrarium of sorts to check in. You also must climb a lot of steps. The mold smell was overwhelming. The young woman who checked us in was very rude. It was a bad experience for us. We wouldn't have minded staying in a 1970s Grandma's house experience, but the rudeness and mold were too much.

Trip From Hell

I’ve stayed once before but don’t risk your life staying with these property owners! They’re try to kill you then not refund your money! I messaged and called them and was locked out of property. In Alaska this is an extreme safety issue! Would only stay on warm nights in case they lock you out!

The staff is super-friendly. They let us hang our laundry out to dry behind their home! They also accommodated our last-minute change of plans and helped us to stay for a 2nd night on short notice. The inn is beautiful and friendly and homey, and we would love to stay here again!

The owners overbooked the “hotel” so they sent me and my wife to a run down place with holes in the sheets and bedding the place smelled of paint fumes we had to fight to get some of our money back. The couch had rips. In it looks like to got it out of the dumps. If it was the last place to rent I would not go there. No wi-Fi.. nasty place.

This isn’t a cookie cutter hotel. It has character. First impression going to office was a little concerning, but once me got to room we were happy. Decor was dated, but clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty.
