"A very relaxing few days spent here - awesome spa"
Awesome spa facilities - unique. It was near the end of their season so it was very quiet and therefore lacked a bit of atmosphere for us. However, it lived up to expectations. We chose the hotel for a few days relaxation before sight seeing in Florence.

"Great beach hotel, friendly staff "
Great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I lost my credit card on the beach. Room was beautiful and well appointed. My only complaint was the noise level on the street. But it was more of a factor of being in the center of town.

"Pleasant stay at Hotel Torense."
As a woman and I was travelling and staying alone. The hotel staff especially the reception staff were great with their advice and help. Although I had hired a car at Pisa airport and drove to the hotel.I wanted to visit Florence the girls on reception advised me to go by train and they checked timetables for me on the internet and called a taxi to take me to the station..as far as im concerned nothing was too much trouble. My room was small but had a lovely ensuite shower room and small verandah.the only downside was the a/c card.. and trying to get the electrcity to work to heat things like my electric rollers it was hit and miss and the lights all went out while in the shower but I rang reception with the help of my mobile phone light and Andreas sorted it out straight away.. The barrier to the car park was also hit and miss but again the staff sorted it as soon as they realized. Also the staff in the restauarant were polite and helpful,Even one of the owners set my sat nav when I was returning to the airport. I would go back in a heart beat...

"The Caribbean in Tuscany"
We were in the chianti region the first week, and stayed at the Marinetta the second week of our vacation in Italy. My husband and I wanted a place by the beach and within a one hour drive of some sightseeing activities. This was perfect. One hour to Popolunia going south or one hour to Pisa going north. Beach and the two pools were clean and well maintained, washroom and showers by the beach for hotel guests. Buffet dinners were varied daily. I had a Tuscan fish stew at the The Ombra della Sera Restaurant (a la carte) that was one of the best meals I had during my 2 week vacation. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, although the walls could do with some art work. The reason I gave the room a 3 not a 4-5 was that you could hear every step and noise from the adjacent rooms. The people occupying the adjacent rooms were early risers and were awake every morning by 6:00 am. We could hear them walking, talking, chairs scraping the floor and the water running. It was loud enough to wake us up. The front desk staff all spoke English but the rest of the staff spoke very little or no English at all (not a big deal since you are in Italy after all). This is a family hotel, so be prepared to eat dinner with small children around you even if you are in the The Ombra della Sera Restaurant. Overall we were very happy to have stayed there.

"Quiet spot."
We chose this hotel as we were going to a concert at the nearby venue, which was ideal for us as we only had to walk a few hundred yards to get back . The hotel is described as having a shopping centre in the middle of it but it was very disappointing as there are only FOUR stores inside and in the 2 visits that I made, only 2 were ever open !!! The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was adequate with an en suite containing a bath/shower. If you have more than one mobile phone to charge overnight, you can't do it because although there were 3 sockets, 2 of them automatically switched off as soon as we turned the lamps off once going yo bed ! Although there was breakfast included, the choice was limited but good quality ( especially the hot chocolate) We did get good nights sleep and experienced no noise at all. The Central Railway Ststion is about 10 /15mins walk which was handy as we went to Pisa and Florence. Livorno itself is picturesque and there are lots of fruits and fish to coose from. Plenty of places to eat when you are at the city centre.

"Great location, clean affordable suite."
It was our second time to this hotel. The suite is really good, nice view, good shutters to make the room pitch black. Well located, decent breakfast included with delicious espresso coffe.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Etruscan Coast, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Etruscan Coast hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
