Although it was not listed as one of the amenities, the pictures listed for this Hotel include it's pool, which was unavailable, locked, empty and filthy. Inside the room, upon first entering, there was a horrid smell that choked you as you came into the room. The mirror for the bathroom was cracked, the bedsheets had multiple holes in them and the towels were dirty, stained, and ripped. There was not even a latch lock for the door of the room which had open ground access. When asked the staff for help, there was either an attitude through the phone or a staff member redirecting me to someone else who wasn't readily there. There were no active managers on site and it was in a bad neighborhood. Do not recommend going here.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff were always helpful, I needed to clean my clothes & they called across the parking lot to Embassy Suites to confirm I could use their facility, then to a laundromat down the street. Our room was clean & comfortable. I would book another stay here definitely.

I would not stay here again. The room was very worn and tired, with a strong chemical smell, humidity, a fogged window, poorly functioning A/C, and scratched and damaged furnishings. Most concerning, I found what appeared to be old blood stains on the sheets. The night clerk was very nice and brought clean replacement sheets, but I then found stains on other bedding. I asked for another room, but the hotel was fully booked, so there was no way to resolve the situation. I checked out and paid to stay elsewhere. The next day, I called to discuss the situation and was told the manager would call me back, but the call never came. When I tried again later, three attempts to reach the front desk ended with extended hold music followed by disconnections. Choice Hotels eventually contacted the property for me, but the hotel refused a refund because they had provided clean replacement sheets. While I appreciated the clerk doing that, it did not address the other stained bedding, the overall condition of the room, or the fact that no alternative room was available. I was disappointed that the hotel couldn't resolve the issues, wouldn't discuss them with me afterward, and then refused to refund a room that I couldn't—and didn't—stay in.

Although it is an older place, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
