The location and the staff are great, but this place really needs some updating. Everything is just a little outdated, which is fine for the price, but there was visible mold in the bathroom, which was unsurprising how moisture just seemed to sit, even with the vent fan running.

There was never any facility available!? When we arrived via GPS, could not contact anyone or see any evidence of a room and/or cabin for us to stay in? Phone posted on a door was not in service.

Just OK! If you’re looking for a great deal, then this is your oasis. No frills Mom and Pop roadside motel. Pretty cheap to stay there, but there’s just a single knob lock on the door. No deadbolt So my wife felt like it lacked security. The second problem was the room smelled like mold. They had a Damp- Rid bucket placed in the bathroom that needed to be drained and refilled with new Damp-Rid material to continue the process of removing the mold and must out of the room. The AC struggled to keep us cool. We personally won’t stay here again but it was economical and had some charm. If the necessary repairs and updates are made this place could be a contender.

Good staffer at desk, Good price too

Location is good, but that's it. Truly the worst hotel experience I've had. We were given room 123, which should never be sold... Smell was awful, upholstery was ripped, no windows (ot looked like it had originally been a room for staff to rest), beds were in two separate rooms with ceiling fans that had lights. Fans spun, but the lights in both rooms would not come on. That was enough to demand (nicely) a different room. There was no argument, as I'm sure they knew all about that room. The second room was a lot better, but still had a musty smell. The bathroom door was hard to close, and to wash your hands, you had to open the door, and go around the corner to the sink. Who designs a bathroom like that? Incredibly, a charge for $2.41 was added to my card - for a room upgrade? Who knows. Stay was one night, one week ago.

Clean

Waterpark was the best part. Rooms were not very clean. Screens torn or off the track. Windows dirty. Window covering in need of repair, off hooks. coffee machine in room but no cups for coffee. Disappointed no breakfast at all. 1/2 off coupons not acceptable. Woman at front desk was friendly and helpful. Replaced a broken hair dryer and replaced a missing lightbulb. Phones to call front desk not working or even hooked up. Room not cleaned up during stay. : towels not replaced or even picked up. we will not be returning. .
