The staff was great! Specifically the young woman who checked us in (4 pm on 8/13) forgot her name but she was amazing! Also a man named Francisco? I think? Beautiful room looking at the lake. The kids loved the playroom activities. Now for the less great stuff…. Save your money on food outside. The food here is horrible and expensive. We got super old stale fries, nachos with maybe 3-4 pieces of meat, and cold wings. After that we only ordered food from outside the resort. Also the fire alarm randomly went off after I blow dryer my hair.. the smoke detectors are super sensitive (I’d assume because there’s SO many people smoking here… also a huge turn off while staying with an infant. Even the staff took smoke breaks by the buildings. I’d stay here again but I’d definitely plan on something else for food.

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee was an exceptional stay from start to finish. The hotel has a rare blend of historic elegance, comfort, and true hospitality that makes it feel like more than just a place to sleep. From the moment I arrived, the property felt polished, timeless, and welcoming, with beautiful details throughout and a level of care that shows. The location is excellent. It is centrally located, making it easy to enjoy downtown Milwaukee, restaurants, business meetings, and nearby attractions without feeling removed from the city. The hotel itself also offers great dining options, which made the stay even more convenient and enjoyable. What stood out most was the atmosphere. The Pfister feels refined without being pretentious, historic without feeling outdated, and impressive without trying too hard. The rooms were comfortable, the service was professional, and the entire experience felt thoughtfully managed. I would highly recommend The Pfister to anyone visiting Milwaukee who wants a hotel with character, elegance, great food, and a prime location. It is a memorable property and one I would gladly return to.

Excellent stay. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Morning omelet great. Location great. Only negative was bed pillows.
