The Manager was very helpful and nice .

We were in Milwaukee for our son’s engagement. I had scheduled some special deserts to be shipped from NewJersey. I had called the hotel and advised them to refrigerate the box immediately when received. I was assured that they would take care of it. However when we arrived, and were ready to leave for the engagement we were informed that they had put the box in the freezer instead of the refrigerator. Also the management did not make any attempt to apologize for messing this up for us. Extremely bad customer service.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds but the beds appeared to be 2 doubles. We asked staff about this & they insisted we had 2 queens. If that’s accurate, their queen beds are very small. This was also probably the most uncomfortable stay I’ve had at a hotel due to the mattress quality & condition of the pillows. The fridge ran loudly and the room didn’t have a lot of light options. We found a pair of underwear behind the bathroom door so not a thorough cleaning job prior to our stay. There were spots throughout the floor that sunk, suggesting some rotting wood beneath the carpet. The hallways were pretty run down, visibly dirty/stained carpeting and damaged walls. Breakfast was really good and staff were generally pleasant but I’d likely stay elsewhere next time.

Great hotel to stay at and helpful staff. The only thing I would say is the air freshener they use is so strong, it made me sick. I asked a couple other people and they felt the same way too.

Outdoor pool was not opened and was drained. Very disappointing since that’s one of the reasons why we chose Sheraton.

Very clean and quiet. Spacious rooms and kitchen. Very good stay!

My family and I had a wonderful time and experience, as we celebrated our Republic's 250th birthday, this July 4th weekend. A great shoutout to Sam, Heidi and Arda at the 1878 restaurant. Keep up the awesome work. Thank you!

There was a shoe and socks left behind by a previous guest that the cleaning staff missed. ..obviously they weren't very thorough
