El Tanque Vacation Packages

Friendly staff who were happy to help. Bar staff remembered people and their drinks. Variety of food selection on offer. Lots of sun loungers on offer although the hotel can block the sun occasionally. The room was fine, clean and spacious. Room and general internal areas of the hotel looked slightly old / outdated however no complaints. Only one issue was in the final morning before checking out, there was a fairly large leak coming from the ceiling above the shower, this didn’t affect me as I was preparing to leave and reception staff did apologise and arrange the maintenance crew to check.

Excellent hotel and really convenient location for getting around the island. Look forward to staying again

Not a 5 star hotel and the room although it was very big and nice, was dirty, particularly the bathroom. The pools are old and quite small, if you want to go to the beach you need to walk 25mins. There isn’t good coffee around and nothing to do. I don’t recommend it at all.

Family friendly

Your average all inclusive set up. Staff were very nice and the buildings were kept clean. Although there is a variety of food on offer, it's not very good and served lukewarm. The layout of the buffet also unfortunately leads to a bottleneck. Included drinks are local only. The site is hilly so if you struggle to walk you will need to have a room close to the pool area. The room layout (family suite), we felt was a terrible design - the steep (and slippery) stairs down are right by the front door, and the lower level is where the bathroom is. Otherwise the room was pleasant if a little dated. Overall, fine if you get a good deal; perhaps not if you're going in high season

Excellent location, great amenities, spotless room, friendly staff, plenty of beds at the pool. Everything you would expect from a holiday! Will definitely be back!

Main problem is noise from the night clubs across the road at the Veronica’s complex. It will stop you sleeping. Plus the poolside staff seem very keen with the Pet Shop Boys and will play all their music ever written every afternoon. Cigarette smoke from nearby balconies easily travels to your room and balcony which I found offputting. Other than that, hotel is reasonably priced, in a good location (except for noise), well looked after and near a lovely beach.
