"A touch of nature"
Great location! Would come back if opportunity again. People friendly and helpful. Gave room cleanliness a 4 only because was surprised sand not swept at front door when returned at end of day and wine glasses dirty when Returned at end of night to enjoy remainder of wine we purchased to drink on our deck. All minor in lieu of this location and amazing place on earth. Defiantly choose this place if able to

"The best accommodation "
We had the best time at Tidelines and Bicheno. Sandy and husband were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Suggested where to eat and things to do. We would go back there and highly recommend to our Victorian friends.

"Absolute Beachfront"
We traveled to Tasmania for a mini honeymoon immediately after our wedding (we are planning a longer trip later in the year). We wanted somewhere quite and relaxed to unwind after the wedding. This place was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. The chalet was clean, modern. cozy and really well maintained. It had absolutely everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We took a bit longer than expected to drive to Swansea from Hobart, I called on the way to advise we would be arriving late. The lady I spoke to was so helpful and friendly. She explained where we could find our cabin key, and advised us on some dinner options for when we arrived. The envelope with our key had a map of where to find our cabin, as well as a map of Swansea with the dinner recommendations marked clearly for us. Arriving in the dark, we could only hear the ocean when we arrived, but were pleasantly surprised by the incredible view from our balcony in the morning. In the morning, we dropped by the office, and were given some really helpful recommendations on what to do while we were visiting, and an offer to help with anything we needed. This was the perfect place to base ourselves to explore the Freycinet area and we felt so relaxed and comfortable for our whole stay here. We will definitely return and I would highly recommend staying here. I would recommend paying for one of the beachfront chalets, it is absolutely worth it to be able to watch the sunrise from your balcony.

"Hotel with amazing view"
Have no idea why the recent reviews are terrible. We actually found the resort is amazing, it is located right next to the astonishingly beautiful diamond island beach with two minutes walk, the owner is very friendly (a little bit shy), the room is spacious, everything is clean, there is heater in the bathroom, you can even see the penguins by joining their self arranged tour at night. The whole experience is enjoyable and I definitely recommend this resort to everyone.

East Coast Tasmania is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in East Coast Tasmania, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your East Coast Tasmania hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
