All staff were professional, courteous and friendly. They all went out of their way to grant your requests. The ambience is very nice. The electrical outlets on the patio didn't always work. Had to be creative in getting plugs to stay in. They also need to upgrade from 110v to 220v. Just kidding, but they should have something for travelers from Europe. Internet service was pretty good. Everyone in my group were pleased and would return. The tour setup for us by the manager was fun!!!! Good people, fantastic accommodations. Recommended...

First off, there is nothing we didn't like about Sunset at the Palms! As soon as we got there, we were welcomed with a drink and given a short tour. When we got to our room, there was a personal note from the person who got our room ready. Mini fridge stocked with water and Red Stripes, robes and slippers, perfectly working a/c and ceiling fan and the room was immaculate. We loved having the balcony to sit on at the beginning/end of our days, also. Overall, the set up of Sunset was the biggest plus for us. They were definitely booked up, but guests weren't crawling all over each other. There is enough room at the pool, dining areas, beach, etc. for everyone to enjoy the resort in their own space if they want to. All of the staff, no matter where we were, were very friendly and accommodating. The cambio and gift shop are very convenient. We had our own car, so we could explore more on our own (recommend it if you can brave the roads), but did utilize the resort's services to book a catamaran tour to Rick's Cafe. All of the food was so good! Omelets at breakfast were a clear favorite. There were always lots of choices. Non meat/vegetarian (vegan too!) options seemed to be at every buffet meal. We had a few reservations in their restaurant room that were also amazing. Romantic dinners are always a good idea. The jerk chicken linguini is 🔥 Basically, Sunset at the Palms is worth your money. It's a great place, full of great people and you'll have a great stay. We'll be back!

I stayed at Princess Senses Mangrove from July 16–18 to celebrate my birthday, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever had. I came to Jamaica excited to celebrate a special occasion, but I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and honestly wondering how a resort that markets itself as luxury could provide such poor service from beginning to end. Before I even arrived, I paid $150 USD for birthday decorations in my room and have the email confirmation proving everything was arranged. Imagine finally getting to your room on your birthday only to find absolutely nothing there. It completely took the excitement out of the moment. The only resolution I was offered was a $50 refund, which felt like a slap in the face considering they failed to provide something I paid for in full. One thing that should absolutely be disclosed before guests order anything is the $15 room service service fee. I stayed on the Mangrove side, where every room service order carries this charge, and after 10:00 p.m. it’s charged on either side of the resort. That information was never communicated during booking or check-in. Guests should not have to discover additional fees after placing an order. Basic transparency shouldn’t be optional. The biggest issue throughout my entire stay was the complete lack of communication. Amazing staffs

Everything was a lot better than 2y ago. Food was better. Staff had more positive energy. Only thing that blew me was my door sensor for my key card was intermittent. That whole situation was horrible.
