Great Hotel

This should be the standard all Travelodges aspire to. I appreciate it's a Travelodge Plus, but make them all like this one and it'll be a success. Very comfortable hotel and bed and great breakfast. Will definitely use it again.

Good location and nice staff - otherwise average

This was a great location with a short walk to Temple bar. The room was quite small and we had to specifically ask for housekeeping despite leaving the appropriate door hanger outside. Breakfast was average.

The staff on the reception desks were very helpful, polite and courteous. The room and bathroom was clean and functional but small and basic considering the cost. The shower tray did not drain flooding the bathroom floor and the shower gel fixed to the wall was empty. We reported the shower issue and it appeared to have improved when we used it the second morning.

Friendly staff, clean, modern building. However air conditioner is programmed to shutdown to conserve energy which happens a couple times a night and turns the room into a hotbox until you turn it back on. Cheap foaming body wash/shampoo in the shower. If you want your room clean you have to tell them before midnight. The breakfast buffet's food was decent although not worth what they are charging. Not sure who set up the buffet, but people waiting for the espresso machine congest the area and you can't get to the food without bumping into people. If they could move the drinks a little bit away it would probably help. We didn't eat at the restaurant as the prices seemed a little steep like most hotels.

Our stay was excellent. Room size was quite tight for two people and luggage. No chairs to sit, suitcases had to be opened on the bed and stood in the corner when not in use. Excellent location to several quays, Temple bar, immigration museum, and other attractions.
